Welcome to Lucy Masters online store. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for purchasing original paintings from Lucy Masters. By placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website.

2. Definitions

  • "Artist": Lucy Masters

  • "Customer" or "Buyer": The individual purchasing the artwork.

  • "Artwork": The original paintings listed for sale on this website.

3. Ordering Process

  • Placing an Order: Orders can be placed through our online store by selecting the desired artwork and completing the checkout process.

  • Order Confirmation: An order confirmation email will be sent once your purchase is complete, containing the details of your order.

  • Changes and Cancellations: Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. To make changes or cancel your order, please contact us.

  • Commissions are secured by a 50% deposit. A photo of the finished piece will be sent for clients approval. Finished commissioned artwork will not be shipped until the remaining balance has been paid. 

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices: All Prices are subject to change without notice but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

  • Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Your order will not be shipped until full payment has been received.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping Methods: We offer Standard & Express tracked shipping.

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the buyer. International shipping may incur additional charges.

  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are given at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • International Shipping: Additional customs fees and taxes may apply for international shipments. These are the responsibility of the buyer.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Return Policy: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the artwork within 14 days of delivery, provided it is in its original condition.

  • Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Refund Policy: Refunds will be processed after receiving the returned artwork. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Commissioned or customised artwork cannot not be returned for refund.

7. Product Descriptions and Availability

  • Descriptions: We strive to ensure that all artwork descriptions and images are accurate. However, due to differences in display settings, colors may vary slightly from what is shown on your screen.

  • Availability: All artwork is subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide options for substitution or refund.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Data Collection: We collect personal data necessary to process your order, including name, address, payment information. Your data is used solely for order processing and is kept confidential.

  • Data Protection: We implement security measures to protect your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to complete your order.

  • Disclaimers: We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of this website's content or the content of any sites linked to this site.

  • Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom .

  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through negotiation or mediation before pursuing legal action.
